We had a birthday to go to and at the last minute I went to grab some birthday boy specific wrapping paper and had none. So I found some construction paper and puzzled it together, taped the edges, then wrapped the gift up. The bow I used from the scrap left over. I eyeballed a bow, cut it out and outlined it with a red marker and we made it to the party on time! It was a sweet conversation piece and my son was proud to hand it over.

Tip: Construction paper's nature is to bleed their rainbow colors when wet.
